The Healing Power of Art

Art, is not just the beauty it creates, it is also the feeling it brings.  More than the entertainment it provides, it is an expression of our soul. Where, words become hard to express, art is like a breath of fresh air.  In the process of moulding our problems, into different forms of art, we discard them from our mind and body, thereby healing it.  The healing power of art penetrates our soul, cleanses our mind and strengthens our body.  The moment you choose art as your lifestyle, you are reborn into a land of bliss.

Art therapy is a form of expressive therapy.  The patients are encouraged to explore their feelings and create them in the form of art.  The process is called self-expression.  The resulting artworks will enhance the patients, to understand their emotional conflicts, develop social skills, improve self esteem, manage addictions, reduce anxiety and restore normal functions to their lives.
